The Q81 Foundation has also asked for the guidance of the Community Foundation of Palm Beach County to determine the recipient of the third award, providing to a high school graduate who demonstrates the scholarship need, has academic excellence, and is a leader in the community.

Each of the three scholarship recipients will be entering college in the fall academic semester and their scholarship monies will be made available to their chosen colleges. The scholarships will be made available to the students each academic year for needs outside of tuition such as food, housing and books, for the total amount of $10,000.

The Anquan Boldin Foundation is celebrating 10 years of community service of expanding the educational and life opportunities of underprivileged youth. Anquan Boldin is entering his 12th year as a professional athlete of the National Football League. Born and raised in Pahokee, Florida, Boldin passionately supports the Glades community in a number of activities throughout the calendar year.

“We have been blessed with the opportunity to award these scholarships through acquiring the Byron “Whizzer” White Award from the NFL Players Association,” says Boldin. “The needs for supporting higher education are so very great. It is our goal to help fulfill the need by distributing these annual gifts to deserving high school graduates.”
